As we look back at 2025, we aren’t just looking at numbers—we’re looking at lives changed. This is what happens when friends and family say "Yes" to the mission! Because you chose to stand with our 501(c)(3) organization, look at what we accomplished together:

🎓 Global Mentorship: Provided volunteer and internship opportunities to over 150 students across 22 countries and 5 continents.
👶 The NICU Project: Served 327 NICU babies and their families across 17 hospitals.
💻 Local Support: Provided vital online resources to 22 counties, connecting families to the help they need right where they are.

This community is a testament to what God can do when we unite with a common purpose. As we prepare for 2026, we invite you to continue this journey with us.

National Administrative Professionals' Day recognizes and praises secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals and office runners. Many of these workers rely heavily on email for their jobs to communicate with people inside and outside their organization.

Ray Tomlinson, whose birthday falls on today, April 23rd, was the computer programmer who created the first email program in 1971. Let us commemorate those who contribute to making our work days run smoother.

American Indian and Alaska Native mothers are 2-3% more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than their non-Hispanic white counterparts (NIH). Twice as many AI/AN mothers experience postpartum depression compared to their non-Hispanic white counterparts. This is just one minority group affected by racial disparities, which is why we have months like National Minority Health Month to raise awareness and work towards an end to these systematic life threatening disadvantages.

In the United States, Black women are 3% more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes compared to white women (CDC 2020), and 50% more likely to have a preterm birth compared to white and Hispanic women (CDC 2022). Black Maternal Health Week is here to remind us of these racial disparities to build a better America.
Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered for our 2025 NICU Esther Eboade Basket Project. We were able to serve 18 hospitals with over 300 care baskets for NICU mothers, babies and their nurses!

Happy National Student Employment Week! Thank you for your hardwork and dedication!

WoMen of Connections Ministry has many diligent student workers. Our organization depends on the amazing work of our student employees, interns, and volunteers.

“Being a student worker allows me to have a productive break from my studies and put certain skills that I’ve learned in school to use,” said Jessica, one of our federal work study students from VCU.
