This is our first Pop up programming at The Healing Justice & Community Power Building Center before our full renovations happen and the vision comes to life!

The series is called Breaking the Stigma.

We want to begin by breaking down stigmas and creating opportunities for our community to explore wellness practices in a way that feels accessible, culturally relevant, and grounded in conversation. We will be launching the series beginning with a conversation about yoga.

During our outreach and listening sessions about creating a space for wellness, rest, and community connection, yoga was one of the most common responses we heard. But this raised an important question for us: Are people asking for yoga because they genuinely want to practice it, or because yoga has become one of the practices most commonly associated with wellness?

We want to explore that question together with our community on Thursday September 2nd | 6pm – 8pm.

Registration required. Link in Bio.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
