Come meet the newest group of CRS + TELE alums who are ready to share their stories!

Our alumni community is invited to join us virtually on Sunday, October 4 at 10:30am EST for our Annual Global Alumni Assembly!

We’ll hear directly from this year’s campers about the moments that mattered to them this summer, what they’re carrying forward, and how they hope to put their experiences into action in their own communities.

Our Ring by Ring campaign is still going strong, and right now, Camp years 2012 and 1999 are tied for the lead with the most alumni donations. We have had 25 different years represented so far! Thank you to all who have made an impact in honor of their summer at CRS or TELE.

A morning full of curiosity, questions, and ideas! 🌏

Earlier today, our Career & Community Connections: Climate, Environment & Sustainability gathering brought together CRS + TELE alums around a shared interest in these topics.

We were lucky to be joined by Dan, a CRS alum from ‘92 and ‘93, who works in clean energy developing solar technology. The group had plenty of questions, encouragement, resources to share, and a very popular show-and-tell featuring one of Dan’s solar cells and solar-powered headphones!

As recent alum Roman shared, “it’s important for all of us to know something about these topics and to have an impact.”

We love seeing alumni across generations connect around a shared value in caring for our world and exploring the many ways they can contribute to positive change.

On Saturday, September 19, LAJF will be joining the Pioneer Academics 5th Annual Co-Curricular Summit, a free virtual event connecting students with educational programs and opportunities from around the world.

The GEJ Scholarship helps members of our community continue their education and carry what they’ve learned through our programs into their careers and communities around the world.

It’s officially a wrap on Summer 2026 here at Camp Rising Sun!

Over the past four weeks, during our second session, the Boys and Non-Binary campers transformed Camp into a community of their own. One filled with curiosity, laughter, cultural exchange, new challenges, and a willingness to show up for one another.

They led and learned through Instructions, left their mark through Projects, shared stories around the fire at Council, took on beloved traditions like the Nature Trip and the Variety Show, and built friendships across countries and continents.

But some of the most meaningful moments were the simplest ones: listening across differences, encouraging a friend to try something new, sharing pieces of home, and discovering just how quickly a group of people from around the world can become a community of belonging.

We’re so proud of this group and officially welcome them to the global Rising Sun alumni community! 🧡
