Although the Russell Refuge has closed, the adventures of the Refuge terriers continue. They are looking for their forever homes and until that becomes a reality, they are being taken care of by Jacks Galore Rescue in Massachusetts. They could use your help raising $15,000 for their special fundraiser. For those who are able to donate $50 they have a wonderful tote bag as a gift. After 40 years and over 1,000 Jack Russell terriers rescued, our executive director Dale Mountan is retiring and the Rhinebeck Russell Refuge has closed. Effective today, July 16, 2017, the doors have been shuttered. Donations are still welcome until August 15th. He’s happy and bouncy and filled with loads of energy. Jumping is one of his favorite activities. Nemo is a young clown fish ;) around 4 years old. He is very loving and also a bit feisty. He can be shy around men. Is someone missing a princess??? 👸 Excuse me did you lose your princess? Princess found searching for her castle. Do you have a castle that needs to be filled with a Princess? She does suffer from seizures but is on medication for it and hasn't had one since coming to the shelter. She is around 7/8 years old and such a sweet heart.
