Lionhardt was established in May 2015 to provide awareness & financial support to all first responders battling cancer & other critical illness.

Cancer has struck home for the Renton Fire Family. Our brother Donovan Eckhardt was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma back in late 2013. After an amazing fight and undeterred will, it appeared that Donovan had beaten his cancer. Unfortunately it has since returned in greater numbers. Donovan has begun treatment again and as before has brought the will and strength of a large army to battle th

is. As most everyone knows, Chemo and Radiation Therapy are physically draining and financially taxing. This organization was created to help Donovan, his amazing wife Jamie, and son William with any financial needs, as well as continue to bring awareness to firefighters fighting critical illnesses.
