Luther’s Table is a nonprofit outreach ministry that embodies radical hospitality by cultivating an inclusive space for community gathering, creative expression, and shared nourishment. Located in downtown Renton, we offer free weekly community meals, creative events, healing circles, open mic nights, and more. Whether you're looking for a place to belong, to grow, to be fed—or to feed others—there’s a seat for you at the table. A Table for Everyone. Nourishment for Mind, Body, and Spirit.

The Rest Stop
Sunday, Oct 25 | 7:00-9:00pm

The Rest Stop is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and simply be. Each gathering includes a brief welcome, a short reading, quiet music, and space for personal reflection. There are no sermons. No pressure. No expectations.

Whether you’re exploring faith, navigating recovery, carrying life’s questions, or simply looking for a quiet place to pause, you’re welcome here. So come and get comfortable, bring a pillow, blanket, or bedroll. Seating is provided.�

Monthly giving helps sustain the everyday operations of Luther’s Table and helps keep the doors open so this can continue to be a place where people gather, make music, find connection, share what they are carrying, access support, and experience belonging.

Let’s Play Mahjong!
Wednesdays | 3:00–6:00 PM

Looking for a place to play Mahjong, or curious to learn? Brought to the Table by the Mahjong group from the Renton Senior Center, weekly Mahjong is happening at Luther’s Table through December!

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, there’s a place for you! Learn to play, enjoy a friendly game, and connect with others around the table.

FREE and fun! All experience levels welcome. No registration required!

Co-Create Night: Petals and Pumpkins
Wednesday, Oct 21 | 7:00-8:30PM

Local artist Nikky Jost returns to Luther’s Table on Wednesday, October 21 from 7:00–8:30 PM for another evening of creating with pressed flowers...this time decorating pumpkins with beautiful botanicals!

Co-Create Night began with Petals & Pumpkins two years ago, and we’re excited to have Nikky bringing it back this October.

Small pumpkins and all the supplies needed will be provided. Have a larger pumpkin you’d love to decorate? Bring it along!

No experience needed. No RSVP required. All ages are welcome for this sweet fall night of creativity and connection.

We are excited to welcome Ryan Ingersoll as the new Chair of the Luther’s Table Board of Directors!

Ryan joined the Board in 2025, bringing a deep love for community and a belief in the power of creating restorative spaces together. From the beginning, Ryan has brought thoughtful questions, wisdom, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to the mission and vision of Luther’s Table.

Ryan also brings a wealth of nonprofit leadership and Board experience to this role, along with an understanding of both the opportunities and challenges that come with growing and sustaining a community-centered organization.
When Ryan first joined the Board, he shared a question from Peter Block that continues to resonate, “What can we create together? It feels like a pretty wonderful question to carry with us into this next chapter.

We are incredibly grateful that Ryan has said yes to serving as Board Chair, and excited for his leadership as Luther’s Table continues to grow, deepen our connections, and create a Table for Everyone. Welcome to this new role, Ryan!

Do you love board games? Have a game you’ve been dying to get to the table? Or maybe you love playing but don’t have a group to play with?

This Saturday, October 3 is Game Day! Come on down to Luther’s Table anytime from 11 AM–10 PM!

Bring a favorite game from home, grab something from the FunFirst Collective game library, bring some friends, or come meet some new people around the table.

Whether you’re a serious strategist, a casual player, or have absolutely no idea what you’re doing yet, there’s a seat at the table for you.

Stay for an hour. Stay all day. Play one game or twelve!

All ages and experience levels are welcome. Free to attend. Donations welcome.

We are so grateful for Rachel Lifvendahl and the leadership, care, and commitment she has brought to Luther’s Table during this foundational year of our Board of Directors.

As Co-Chair, Rachel has helped guide Luther’s Table through a significant season of growth and transition. She has offered her time, wisdom, and deep care for this community, helping build a strong foundation as Luther’s Table continues to grow into this next chapter.

While Rachel is stepping away from active service on the Board, she isn’t going far! You’ll still see her around Luther’s Table as she continues to share her gifts and serve this community in other ways.

Thank you, Rachel, for your leadership, your care for Luther’s Table, and the many ways you continue to show up for this community. We are so grateful for you and for all that you have helped make possible around the Table.
