Smiles Forever is a small non-profit based in Renton, WA that performs services in Cochabamba, Bolivia. We are dedicated to providing oral hygiene education and prevention to local communities throughout Bolivia. Since the year 2000, Smiles Forever has provided invaluable oral health education - hosting workshops for children and adults on the importance of tooth brushing - while also operating a

dental hygienist training program for young women. Smiles Forever has served thousands of children and needy adults, while graduating over 50 dental hygienists. Smiles has been recognized internationally for this work, including World of Children, The West Foundation, The Pierre Fauchard Foundation and Sunstar Foundation's World Dental Hygienist Project award.

Thanks to your support, an important week of collaboration in Seattle has opened new opportunities for dental education, research, and community health in Bolivia. Key accomplishments included partnership discussions with the University of Washington, planning the next phase of the Marquina project, finalizing our SDF research publication, and advancing the redesign of the Dental Hygiene curriculum.

At Smiles Forever Foundation, we believe that oral health is not a luxury—it is a fundamental human right and a powerful catalyst for social change. For over 25 years, our work in vulnerable and rural communities has been guided by three core principles:

🩺 HEAL: We travel to remote areas where dental care is non-existent, setting up mobile clinics to eliminate chronic pain, treat infections, and restore dental health for thousands of children.

📚 TEACH: True transformation starts with prevention. We provide consistent oral hygiene education and hand out prevention kits, teaching children and families how to protect their smiles for life.

👩‍🎓 EMPOWER: We break the cycle of poverty by providing professional scholarships. Through our unique training model, young women from disadvantaged backgrounds graduate as certified Dental Hygienists, becoming leaders and healthcare providers in their own country.
