Back-to-school season is officially here! 🎒📚

We loved welcoming families to Kaiser Permanente Steele Street Medical Center for a day filled with a little bit of everything to help get ready for the school year, from building backpacks and picking out school supplies to fresh snacks, sidewalk chalk and, of course, ice cream. 🍦

Families could also connect with our care teams for primary care visits, sports physicals and vaccines, making it easier to check a few things off the back-to-school list all in one place.

Big thanks to our Kaiser Permanente teams who helped make the day so special and to all the families who joined us. 💙

We’re gearing up to welcome hundreds of pickleball players, coaches, and spectators for Pickleball for All this Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30! 6th Avenue between Blanchard and Virginia will be closed off to traffic to become temporary pickleball courts for the weekend.

New to pickleball? On kid duty? No worries! Pickleball for All is for players of all experience levels and is a great option for a free, family-friendly outing. Better yet—early registrants can take a new paddle home for ✨ free ✨(while supplies last), courtesy of Kaiser Permanente!

In case you missed it: Pickleball for All returns to downtown Seattle on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30! 🏓

Join hundreds of community members and test out your pickleball skills. Eight temporary pickleball courts on 6th Avenue between Blanchard and Virginia Streets will be packed all weekend as folks coach, practice, and compete. No experience is necessary; players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.

Paddles and balls will be provided, and this year, early registrants can take their paddle home to keep (while supplies last), courtesy of Kaiser Permanente!
