Missions Fest Seattle What is Missions Fest Seattle? This event is sponsored by churches and ministries in the Seattle area. When do you meet? Where do you meet? Who should attend?

MFS is an annual event that exists to inform and excite Christians about what God is doing around the world for the purpose of involving them in the Harvest. We conduct a Friday/Saturday conference once a year, the first weekend in November. This year we’ll be meeting at Westgate Chapel in Edmonds. Everyone who likes to know what’s going on around the world and cares about “God’s Kingdom” being ad

vanced on earth. Do you need help? Yes, the entire program is run by volunteers. We’d love to have you join us; you can determine when and how many hours you want to contribute. Please tell us what you’d like to do to help! How much does it cost? There is no charge for any of the programs, but we do take an offering at each general session to help with expenses. Will there be food available on site? Yes, there will be a selection for you, so you can stay at the church and enjoy the entire day!

Do you have young children? MFS offers a program geared for them - Friday evening and Saturday during all the main sessions! The kids will learn a Bible story, meet with missionaries, play games, and engage in a scavenger hunt. Bring your children - they are our future missionaries!
Missions Fest Seattle is providing a child-focused program taught by experienced background checked teachers. We have a desire to train the next generation to want to win their friends to Christ!

Take a look at Operation Mobilization's ship ministry! "Doulos Hope and Logos Hope continue to bring encouragement, unity, and the love of Christ to port communities around the world. In places like Labuan, Malaysia, and Dominica, thousands of visitors came on board, Bibles were distributed, and lives were transformed by God’s Word."

Praise God that many people are being encouraged and hearing God's word!

Missionary Futurist & Global Kingdom Strategist
Fred Markert was a Marxist atheist living in Berlin, Germany in 1973 when he converted to Christ during the Jesus People movement that swept the world. Since then he has been a missionary futurist and global kingdom strategist serving with Youth With a Mission and now on the Missions Team at Church of the Highlands and Highlands College in Birmingham, AL. He has mobilized and trained church planting teams for unreached peoples, pioneering work in more than 150 countries across the Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist world.
