What a week for Western Washington PGA Member Austin Hurt at the 2026 PGA Cup in Ireland.

Although the team from GB&I took home the trophy, earning the opportunity to represent the United States as one of just 10 PGA Professionals on the U.S. PGA Cup Team is an incredible accomplishment.

Austin represented Wing Point Golf & Country Club, the Western Washington PGA, the Pacific Northwest Section, and PGA Professionals across the country on one of the biggest stages in our game.

Congratulations on an incredible week, Austin! We’re proud to call you one of our own. 👏

Austin Hurt has put together another incredible season.

At April’s PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes, Austin opened with an 8-under 64, held the lead through 36 holes, shared the lead entering the final round and ultimately finished T-4.

That performance helped Austin earn another appearance in the PGA Championship—and helped secure his place among the 10 PGA Professionals representing the United States in this week’s PGA Cup.

Tomorrow, it’s time to put on the red, white and blue.

Let’s go, Austin!

Today we had the privilege of hosting our Patriot Golf Day Scramble at American Lake Veterans Golf Course!

American Lake is a truly special place. Operated entirely by volunteers with no paid staff, the course is dedicated to serving our nation’s veterans by providing rehabilitation, recreation, and community through the game of golf.

Thanks to the support of our PGA Pros and amateur players throughout the 2026 Pro-Am season — along with the generosity of our local pros and facilities who donated prizes for today’s raffle, not to mention everyone who purchased tickets — we were proud to present American Lake Veterans Golf Course with a check for $20,000!

Thank you to everyone who supported our events throughout the year. We’re proud of what our golf community continues to accomplish together!
