One New Heartbeat, in partnership with San Mateo County BHRS, was pleased to recognize William Elting (CFO), Lee Harrison (CADC), and Rayshell Chambers (Vice Chair, California Commission for Behavioral Health | Gubernatorial Appointee) with the 1st Jairo Wilches Peer Leadership Award! 🌟

This honor celebrates exceptional leadership, advocacy, and dedication to peer support across our community, the State of California and Nation Wide.
Thank you, William, Lee, and Rayshell, for carrying forward Jairo's inspiring service and leading the way for Peers with passion, commitment and consistently 👏💙

She possesses a constant ability to gather raw words and weave them into exquisite verses. I'm always in awe so how she takes the words and turns them into works of art.
Mluv has a rare gift and we're so grateful she was able to share that with us today cuz people in the world experience how their words were transformed into poetry.
Everyone felt seen and heard as they got to experience the awesomeness of one new heartbeat today....

It was an absolute honor and privilege to support our peers in San Mateo County today. Thank you to everyone who joined us in person and online for our hybrid event. As we shared today, genuine connection is truly the antidote to what ails us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It was wonderful connecting with all of you!
