Mission: RDC exists to bring hope and restoration through the message of the Gospel for people in the Triangle area.

Nonprofit resource center bringing Christ-centered solutions to addiction, hunger, trauma, homelessness, and unemployment through residential and community outreach programs. Vision: To be an inner-city resource center bringing Christ-centered solutions to addiction, hunger, trauma, homelessness, and unemployment through community outreach programs and residential recovery programs. Target Population: Those engaged in substance abuse, physical abuse, gangs; and those experiencing homelessness, poverty, trafficking, and mental illness. Motto:
RESTORING HOPE - By engaging in consistent outreach programs and building relationships, we are able to connect with individuals that are in need of support. REBUILDING LIVES - By providing addiction recovery meetings and residential programs, we are able to support individuals as they find restoration. REALIZING DREAMS - By helping people dream again about what God has planned for their future. Ministries:
Adopt-A-Block, KidzJam, Mobile Food Pantry, Addiction Recovery Meetings, Dinner & Bible Study for those experiencing homelessness, RDC Discipleship Program (residential addiction recovery). Our Promise To The Hurting: God has the power to meet your need and heal your hurts. Our Promise To Volunteers: Serving changes the lives of people who serve. Our Promise To Local Churches: A partnership with RDC brings an opportunity to help reach our collective purpose of the Great Commission. We desire to see the Church involved in local missions work to change our city.

A huge thank you to the women's ministry from Central Church, Charlotte, NC for updating the landscaping outside our women’s DCD house!

Your team helped make this space more welcoming and beautiful for our Dream Center Discipleship program. We are so grateful for the time, hard work, and care you poured into this project!

Even more importantly, thank you for covering this home in prayer, encouraging our staff, and praying for the individuals in our DCD program. Your prayers and support mean so much to us!

Dream Center Discipleship (DCD) is a faith-based residential recovery program where men and women can find freedom from drug and alcohol addiction. Through housing, meals, education, mentorship, and discipleship, participants are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives and rekindle their dreams.

The program is offered at no cost, made possible by the generosity of our donors.

We were blessed to spend the day in Moore Square at the ACORNS Community Service Fair, alongside other organizations serving people in our community experiencing homelessness.

Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to listen, pray with dozens of people, and share the hope of the Gospel right in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

We heard prayer requests for healing, for families, for provision, for salvation, and for deeper faith in Jesus. 🙏

We pray that people are connected with practical resources and support to help them in their current circumstances.

Every week, we provide a free hot meal, recovery classes, community, worship, and a Bible message. Shuttle transportation is available from Moore Square between 4–5 PM, as well as from local shelters.

You do not have to walk through a difficult season alone. Family Night is a place to find community, practical support, prayer, and hope in Jesus.

God is changing lives! Five people took a step of faith and were baptized at Family Night last night! 🙌

Here is how one man got here:
Three weeks ago, he was in downtown Raleigh facing homelessness.
Someone from our Street Outreach team approached him. They listened. They offered to pray with him. They invited him to a hot meal.
He took a chance and came.

That night, he heard about a faith-based recovery program with housing, food, education, mentorship, and the opportunity to start a new life, all at no cost. And there was an open bed.

He knew saying yes meant leaving his old life behind, but he took a step of courage and faith anyway.

Today, he is surrounded by new friendships and community. He heard the Gospel, learned about the love of Jesus, and by God’s grace, placed his faith in Him.

Last night he took another step of faith: baptism.

He went into the water to symbolize his new life in Christ, leaving behind addiction and shame and embracing the freedom and grace found in Jesus. 🙌

Praise God for calling people out of darkness and into His marvelous light! (1 Peter 2:9)

Today is Raleigh Dream Center's 12th birthday, and we have a lot to celebrate!✨

Wow! We started our Monday morning with an incredible blessing! 🙌

Bay Leaf Baptist Church hosted a food and supply drive to support Raleigh Dream Center. They helped stock our warehouse with an abundance of goods that will bless our community through our outreach programs.

Even as many families in the Triangle continue to face hunger and food insecurity, the Church is responding to the need. We are so thankful for the generosity of Bay Leaf Baptist Church and everyone who gives.

Thank you, Budget Blinds of Raleigh Durham, our Night of Dreams Gala Diamond Sponsor!

A few years ago, Dan Parlin, owner of Budget Blinds of Raleigh-Durham, brought his team to Raleigh Dream Center to serve for a full day. Seeing the ministry up close left a lasting impression, and they have been showing up ever since.

Since that first day, Budget Blinds has served consistently, invested generously, and stood with us as we bring hope to the Triangle. We are especially grateful that Dan now serves as our Board Chair!

Their generosity reaches well beyond our doors. Through the $1 Per Window Campaign, Budget Blinds donates a dollar to local nonprofits for every window treatment purchased, and they have given more than $200,000 to Triangle causes to date.

Thank you, EPEC Solutions, Night of Dreams Gala Diamond Sponsor!

Kim Sauls, CEO of EPEC Solutions, joined our board in January. What drew her here was Dream Center Discipleship, our Christ-centered residential recovery program, provided at no cost to the men and women in it. Kim has seen this kind of recovery change lives in other places, and she became convinced the Triangle needed the same thing within reach of its own families. Her heart is for men and women to find freedom from addiction and to come to know Jesus as their Savior.

That conviction runs through her whole company. EPEC was founded in 2016 on Christian principles of prayer and servant leadership, with ministry funding and community service built into its purpose from the start. Her team shows up at our outreach events, serves alongside our volunteers, and goes to work knowing their effort is poured back into the ministry.

After 48 years of praying, Jon's parents finally have their son back. 💙

We are so grateful to celebrate how God is transforming lives through the Dream Center Discipleship Program!

Last night’s Family Night was a powerful evening. Despite the rain, we had a full house, and many people responded to the Gospel with faith in Jesus. Several took their first steps toward recovery, including physically throwing away items or substances that were hurting them.

We prayed, we cried, and we praised God together!

A highlight was celebrating Jon’s DCD graduation. Jon shared his story:

“I was dependent on drugs and alcohol for over 30 years of my life, and now I have developed a lifestyle of dependency on God. I know He is shaping me for my purpose and destiny. The Dream Center has provided me with a place to know God as my Father and my personal Savior.

I would like to thank you, on behalf of my parents, who just celebrated 53 years together last month, for the fact that today they have the son that they have been praying over faithfully for the past 48 years.”
