Millions of private scholarships are not awarded each year due to either the lack of marketing or students not meeting their criteria. For my MBA Live Project along with my dissertation, I created Scholar Scouts.
Scholar Scouts is a platform connecting private scholarship foundations with deserving students. This reduces the workload of the foundations and allows students to be considered for multiple scholarships by simply creating a profile on scholarscouts.com Through this platform anyone can create their own scholarship foundation (in memory of a love one, family name, left handed etc) and currently only high school juniors and seniors can create a profile.
Scholar Scouts is also a hub for first year college students as we provide content for common first year experiences and how to conquer those experiences. Students can chat with us throughout their day and ask any questions they need answered; we’re here to support them on their unknown journey.
Lastly, we have the “The Scholar Box” each box is filled with items college students need and want. When they receive this box, we want them to feel loved and thought of.
