𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆

Thousands of Wake County families have registered for Angel Tree, bringing this year’s program to capacity.

Each year, The Salvation Army of Wake County serves thousands of children through the Angel Tree program, and this year’s response has been tremendous.

Angel Tree registration has reached capacity and is now 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃. No additional applications will be accepted for the 2026 season.

We are grateful to every family we are able to assist.

Families still in need of holiday assistance are encouraged to dial 2-1-1 or visit nc211.org to find additional resources in our community.

Before registering for Angel Tree online, make sure you have at least one document from each of these categories:
✅ Proof of Wake County residency
✅ Proof of need
✅ Proof of each child's identity and guardianship
✅ Photo identification

🥫 When food costs rise, community matters.

We’re grateful to be able to stand alongside individuals and families in Wake County who are navigating difficult seasons. Through our food pantry, we’re helping provide access to nourishing food and a little extra support when it’s needed most.

But this work doesn’t happen alone. ❤️

Thank you to the incredible volunteers and community partners who give their time, resources and hearts to help make this ministry possible. Together, we’re making sure our neighbors know they are seen, supported and not alone.

Access to quality dental care is an important part of overall health, dignity and well-being especially for individuals and families who may face barriers to receiving care.

Many of the individuals we serve have restored their health and confidence through the dental care wakesmiles provides. That’s why community partnerships like the one we share with Wake Smiles are so meaningful.

We are grateful to be part of this 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance in collaboration with Activate Good and so many incredible nonprofit and community partners.

Today, we remember.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the countless acts of courage, compassion, and resilience that emerged in the darkest of moments.

On September 11, 2001, The Salvation Army was there—bringing comfort, care, and hope to those who needed it most. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, hope was on the way.

Today, we honor the lives and legacies of those we lost. We honor the first responders, volunteers, survivors, families, and all those who answered the call to serve.

We pause. We pray. We remember.

We will never forget.

Our Army just got a little bigger! 🥹❤️👶

This week, one of the mothers in our shelter welcomed her precious new baby into the world, and our hearts are FULL!

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we’re able to help families celebrate new beginnings with some of the things every new parent needs — including a car seat, stroller and the sweetest little outfits. 🥰

It’s more than providing essentials. It’s helping a family feel supported, cared for and ready for what’s next.

We’re so grateful to be part of this beautiful new chapter. Help us welcome the newest little member of our Army! ❤️
