Thank you River Region Parents for helping parents in our community know more about what the Y has to offer 🫶

Working parents in Prattville: before-school drop-off at the Y starts at 6 a.m., and they take your kids to school at 7. ☀️

After school, K–6 care runs from dismissal to 6 p.m. at several sites around Prattville, and Child Watch means you can get a workout in while the baby's looked after.

See where the after-school sites are, the Child Watch hours and how to try it with a day pass:

HEY YOU! YES, YOU! LOOK UP! 👀

Life is happening all around us. But sometimes, we're so busy scrolling that we miss what's right in front of us. And yes we see the irony of you reading this on your phone :)

The smiles. The conversations. The laughter. The little moments that turn into big memories.

That's why the Prattville YMCA is challenging YOU to take the 5-Day LOOK UP Challenge!

For the next 5 days, we're encouraging our community to put down their phones, be more present, and make meaningful connections with the people around them.

❤️ More conversations.
💚 More laughter.
💙 More family time.
💜 More real-life connections.

Are you up for the challenge?

Comment "I'M IN!" below and tag someone you want to take the challenge with!

Because at the Y, we believe the best connections aren't made through a screen. They're made with each other.

🎃👻 HAVE A SPOOKTACULAR AND SAFE HALLOWEEN! 👻🎃

Halloween is all about costumes, candy, and making memories. As you enjoy the spooky fun, remember to keep safety a top priority.

🧡 HALLOWEEN SAFETY TIPS: 🎃 Carry a flashlight or glow stick to stay visible. 🦇 Use crosswalks and look both ways before crossing the street. 🍬 Check all candy before eating. 👻 Make sure costumes fit properly and don't block vision. 🕷️ Watch for children and trick-or-treaters on the roads. 🍭 Stay with your group and make sure an adult knows your plans.

Have fun, be kind, and look out for one another! Wishing everyone a frightfully fun Halloween filled with treats, laughter, and SAFE adventures.

Stay spooky. Stay smart. Stay safe!
