To every su***de loss survivor who has heard “Did(n’t) you see the signs?” or questioned what you might have done differently: Your pain is valid. Your experience is real. You did not fail your loved one. Let’s shift from questions to support, from judgment to understanding. Every story is different. Every loss is unique. And every survivor deserves compassion, not stigma. At the Alliance of Hope, you are surrounded by a community of people who understand this.

I truly believe our loved ones were in so much pain at the time and they felt there was no way to fix their hurt.

I strongly believe our world 🌎 needs to make changes to how others talk, interact, and judge each other. I was made fun of as a kid and later as I got older the boy who once put me down had apologized for things he did and said. He said as he got older things changed his life and he realized how he treated me wasn’t right.

It’s with that being said I realized that people try causing pain for others trying to stop their pain. Sadly it causes pain on additional people instead of helping.

Mental health awareness needs to be taught at a young age AND taught to parents as our children see what is said and done when at home or in public. ( good and bad) NG🐬

Imagine living with a scream inside you.
And the scream is yours.
And no one else hears it.
That is grief.
Imagine living with a scream inside you—a scream that is yours alone.
It’s loud, it’s piercing, and it reverberates through every part of your being.
And yet, no one else hears it.
Grief can make the world feel so distant.
You might be in the middle of a conversation,
but your mind is elsewhere, caught in that scream.
What does a silent scream even sound like?
What would it sound like if someone else could hear it?
Perhaps it isn't really a scream but a feeling
with sound, one so raw, so painful, so excruciating
that there are no words to describe it,
so it becomes a sound, a noise, a vibration
that rages through our entire body, screaming,
The scream of grief.
