Yesterday, the CFD2 Recruit Academy Class of 2025 - Miles Ashton, Gabe Fischer, Claye Howard, John Searles, Wade Spencer, and Dalton Terrill - proudly presented the Training Division with their official Class Plaque.

This plaque represents far more than just wood and metal. It symbolizes the class's shared endurance, marks the legacy of their intense journey through the academy, and honors all of the dedicated instructors who worked tirelessly to mold them into CFD2 firefighters.

Congratulations, gentlemen! Thank you to the Training Division and the Academy Cadre for guiding the next generation of our department.

To the men & women who gave their lives protecting our freedom, thank you.

Having demonstrated a commitment to both public safety and organized labor, Local 1371 is proud to endorse Mike Kelly in his bid for re-election as the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners.

Public safety isn’t political – it’s personal, for all of us. I am very proud to be unanimously endorsed for re-election by Northeast Johnson County Firefighters Local 1371.
