youTheology Institute, a Pan-Methodist ministry, exists because young people need and want to know and serve God more deeply so that they can follow Christ more faithfully. For too long, young people have been peripheral in youth ministry as we have become consumed with expectations of keeping youth in the church, occupied, and hopefully out-of-sight. As a result, youTheology Institute develops pr
ograms, youth ministry lessons, books, youth workers’ training and other resources. These are to empower young people and youth workers to be rooted in God and sustained over time. Young people who have gone through youth theology programs are active in their churches and campus ministries. Some have gone on to serve as pastors. Youth workers who have attended our youth workers gatherings have found them to be foundational in their youth ministry. These gatherings have provided a solid blend of theological framework and practical tools and tips for youth ministry. This is because we are committed to fostering youth ministry that is grounded in God with youth at the center; in other words, an extraordinary youth ministry. Our passion is to see people live fully and faithfully while following Christ. We love to see young people develop in the faith and go forth serving and leading. We also love to see youth workers have joy, confidence, and peace in youth ministry as they see young people respond to God through their ministry.
