We’re proud to highlight Leah Lambart, PhD, MPH, community outreach and engagement postdoctoral fellow at The University of Kansas Cancer Center, who presented yesterday during Session 1, Assessing and Communicating COE Impact, of the Cancer Center Community Impact Forum (CCCIF) in Seattle.

The CCCIF is a national annual meeting that brings together professionals from National Cancer Institute Designated Cancer Centers and centers pursuing designation, all committed to advancing community-engaged cancer control.

Leah’s presentation, “A Framework for Community Outreach and Engagement at an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center: Narrative Review and Institutional Application,” highlighted innovative approaches to strengthening community outreach and engagement efforts and measuring their impact.

Thank you, Dr. Lambart, for representing KU Cancer Center on the national stage and contributing to important conversations that help advance cancer prevention, research, and care in our communities.
