Such a fun workshop yesterday with Judy Brennan making jumbo sized project bags! Judy uses this size to transport rulers to classes and retreats! BUT we also learned from our youngest participant that they’re great to wear over your head for an astronaut helmet! 😂 And everyone went home with a FINISHED bag!

Meeting reminder! Hope to see everyone on Tuesday, June 9th, at 9 a.m! Our speaker will be CINDY PARRY speaking about the Great Tohoku Disaster. March 11, 2026, marked the 15th anniversary of the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster in Japan. It touched many, including Japanese-born, Lenexa-based quilter Cindy Parry. She will share the story of her fiber art “Tohoku Daishinsai” (Tohoku Disaster), made as a memorial to that event.
