If you are asking yourself, “Does God want me well?” Study the word SOZO and understand that healing is a part of the atonement.

SOZO, translated as “saved” in the Bible, is used over 100 times in the New Testament. It’s an all-compassing expression for salvation. However, the term goes beyond the forgiveness of sin to include healing, deliverance, wholeness and freedom.

It means to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction from injury or peril.

Other words for SOZO are be cured, ensure salvation, get well, made well, preserved, recover, restored, saved.

Jesus included healing in salvation.

He paid the price for it.

WOW! What a month it has been with our class series Growing in Your Identity. For our last week, we learned how to walk these teachings out practically and how to stand against the enemy. Cathy spoke of the great commission and power that was given to us by Jesus and that it is His Holy Spirit power that works in us. There are many examples of the disciples using this power, and what an example we have throughout the book of Acts. WE HAVE THAT TOO!

We’ve had testimonies of back pain, shoulder injury, an eye disease, and leg pain all being healed. A few reported a deeper revelation of their identity in Christ as a son or daughter of God as well as the authority that we hold as an co-heir of Christ.

Joel has been coming to Sonrise events for a couple years now. He has been faithful to continue showing up and standing for his healing.

During the span of our 4 week class, Growing in Your Identity, He received 3 healings. The third one happened one night in the classroom as we came out of agreement with conditions. He came in with back pain and left without it.

We are SO grateful to the Lord for His blessings and His faithfulness.

Join us for our next event Healing Encounter: A weekend to be restored in His presence, to receive your healing and also witness the Lord doing miraculous things.

We received a powerful message on Authority for week 3 of Growing in Your Identity. Now that we learned what our inheritance is, it’s time to apply it. We apply it through the authority Christ gave us, as co-heirs of Him. He gave US authority over ALL the power of the enemy when He restored dominion on this planet through His blood and resurrection. (Luke 10:19).  Cathy also shared the powerful moment where she came OUT of agreement with what the enemy had put on her and she was healed!!  She then invited the group to come out of agreement with their conditions.

One woman shared she had more mobility in her thumb and many shared depression and heaviness in their mind lifted, and a sense of hope restored. During the span of our class, one man has received 4 healings so far He received 3 outside the class and the fourth in the 3rd class, where he came in with back pain and left without it. Another woman left the meeting with more flexibility, less inflammation and more range of motion in her knee. Praise the Lord!

We have one more class in this series.
Next Tuesday online and Wednesday in person.

We are excited to announce our upcoming two-day event called Healing Encounter: a Weekend to be Restored in His Presence. Cathy will be partnering with Julaine Christensen from Omaha, NE. Julaine has a strong anointing for worship and brings a palpable presence of the Holy Spirit.

Are you in need of a fresh encounter with the Lord? Do you need healing in your body? Have you been dealing with depression, anxiety or discouragement?

We want to bless you with a weekend of Spirit filled teaching, worship and prayer so you can receive a fresh encounter with the Lord and be catapulted into the life God has for you! Jesus wants you to walk in JOY, PEACE and FREEDOM from all the enemy is trying to hinder you with!

We are expecting God to move powerfully on your behalf.

When: September 11 & 12
9/11: Friday, 6:30-9:00pm
9/12: Saturday, 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00-4:00pm
Lunch provided on Saturday for $5.

WEEK TWO of Growing in Your Identity was on FIRE! Cathy shared the scripture that changed her life (Isaiah 53:4-5) and many other scriptures that solidify that Jesus wants us WELL, that He healed ALL that came to Him, and that Jesus paid for our sins and healing on the cross. 

This week, we saw several manifestations of the Lord’s healing presence.  One woman’s severe pain with plantar fasciitis was 95% better.  Another woman’s chronic knee pain was completely healed. Another woman’s shoulder injury was 90% healed. Another woman was overcome with the Lord’s peace and received emotional healing.  

We are expecting many more healings to be reported from this week’s classes!

There’s still time to join the next 2 weeks of class. 
Tuesdays online and Wednesdays in person.
6:30pm - 8:30pm.
