CMS Kansas families are invited to gather and celebrate their children and their community with free entry into Science City at Union Station Sensory Sunday. Use the SS2026 discount code at checkout utilizing the Building Hope for Autism scholarship. Go to https://tickets.unionstation.org/, choose shop as guest, choose Science City, choose Single Date Admission, and select the September 20 date. Every sensory fidget tells a story. For many autistic children, these simple tools provide comfort, improve focus, reduce anxiety, and help them successfully navigate everyday life.

Through The Sensory Project, we’ve been able to place these meaningful resources into the hands of families across the Kansas City community, and moments like this remind us why it matters. 💙 Thanks to our generous donors and the success of this year’s Building Hope for Autism Golf Classic, another child received noise canceling headphones through our Sensory Project. These simple tools help children better manage sensory input at home and in the community, making daily life a little easier for them and their families.

This Sunday!!

Today is the BIG Announcement🥳❤️. JULY 19 is Case Management Services CMS, Inc. SENSORY SUNDAY AT SCIENCE CITY!

At checkout, you will type in the SS2026 promo code which will zero out your fees.

Sensory Sundays, presented by Building Hope for Autism , is scheduled in Science City at Union Station at Union Station from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. This time is aimed at providing a more welcoming space for our guests on the Autism spectrum and those with sensory sensitivities. Sound effects will be turned off, and there will be only minimal lighting effects. Special sensory-friendly activities will be available, and there will be designated quiet areas. At 11:30 am, our staff will begin turning on Science City’s regular noises, lights, and attractions, ready for opening to the general public at 12:00 pm. Those attending in the morning will be welcome to stay throughout the day until close at 5:00pm. Future Sensory Sunday dates are: September 20, November 15.

Our hearts are full after the 6th Annual Building Hope for Autism Golf Classic. Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, board members, and friends, we raised an amazing $111,000 this year.

Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue providing sensory kits to first responders, supporting families through the Sensory Project, and offering sensory friendly events throughout our community.
