Portland Jr. Raiders Portland Jr. Raiders is a nonprofit organization offering tackle football and cheerleading programs for 3rd-8th graders in Portland, MI. The Portland Jr.

Raider program, run by the Portland Tackle Football Association (PTFA), works to enhance skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship to future athletes and prepare them for High School athletics. The is a non-profit organization run by a Board of Directors and various Volunteers.

‼️WE NEED YOUR HELP‼️

We've recently found out we can no longer order the tops our Cheerleaders wear at our games, but have extras on hand that we're looking to have altered.
Is there anyone in the community that is willing and able to help with this? Please reach out to us ASAP! We have pictures this coming Wednesday, but if that's not feasible, we would need them by the week of Labor Day (September 7th).

‼️REMINDER‼️

For 3rd-6th grade football, this week starts FULL PADDED PRACTICE. Helmets, red practice pants, girdle, mouth guards and shoulder pads. If you missed any of the mandatory 8 hours of conditioning last week, you will be in helmet only during these practices until you be made up your time. See your team reach pages for specific practice times, days and locations.

This week also starts mandatory conditioning for all 7th-8th grade football which means HELMETS AND MOUTHGUARDS ONLY! These will be monday-Thursday, 6-8pm. Students must get all 8 hours of helmet only conditioning in order to begin full padded practices the following week.
