Portland Community Fund Association NEWS!!!

Our annual Coat Drive runs from Thursday, October 8th through Friday, October 23rd at Bill's Party Store (1153 E. Grand River). We are collecting clean usable coats, snow pants, hats, mittens, gloves and boots; especially children's sizes. PLEASE, no general clothing or garage sale items. This is a COAT DRIVE ONLY!! Non-perishable food donations are also welcome and will be passed onto the Portland Foodbank.

The Coat Drive Giveaway will be held Saturday, October 24th, 10:00 a.m. until 1:00pm at St. Andrews Lutheran Church (8867 Kent Street).

As you probably know, families are struggling these days to make ends meet. The Portland Area Ministerial Association does our best to help meet those needs. PAMA is partnering with the Wagon Wheel in September to raise funds to continue helping local families. If your church is not holding a Good Friday service or you aren't connected to one, there are several Portland churches coming together to hold a Community Good Friday Service.

Date: Friday, April 3rd
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Portland United Methodist Church
Churches Participating: First Congregational Church, Epic Community Church, Church of the Nazarene, Mt. Hope Church and the Portland United Methodist Church.

All are invited and welcome!
