If your church is not holding a Good Friday service or you aren't connected to one, there are several Portland churches coming together to hold a Community Good Friday Service.

Date: Friday, April 3rd
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Portland United Methodist Church
Churches Participating: First Congregational Church, Epic Community Church, Church of the Nazarene, Mt. Hope Church and the Portland United Methodist Church.

All are invited and welcome!

Today is the National Day of Prayer. Although there is no in-person event planned for today, please consider praying for these things:
~Pray for our Government - federal, state and local. Ask God to grant them wisdom and to act with integrity.
~Pray for our Military - Ask God to protect them and their families as they serve to protect our freedoms.
~Pray for the Media - Pray that Christians in media to find favor and be filled with creative ideas that bring kingdom principles and life-giving messages to the public.
~Pray for our Businesses - Pray that Christian workers to display Christ-like humility and service to their co-workers
~Pray for Education - Pray for our educators, a safe place for our students to learn.
~Pray for the Church - Pray for unity with and among churches that reveal God’s love to the world.
~Pray for Families - Pray for unity and love, for healthy life-giving relationships.

We help over 100 Portland families every year that are struggling to pay bills. We are a 501(c)3 organization so your donation is tax deductible.
