The family behind the Skeletons of Bridge Street is part of our Soup Project family, and right now they need our community's help. Their mom is in hospice care, and the family is focused on being with her.

We've set up a meal train to provide dinner while they care for her, starting tomorrow, Saturday, October 17. Meals should serve 4 people and be dropped off at 4 PM on your scheduled day.

Huge thanks to this crew! They knocked it out of the park today with a delicious ham and potato soup with cheese, plus banana strawberry fiber muffins. I'm so grateful for all their hard work.

Volunteers Needed! 🥞

Portland Backpacks for Bellies and The Soup Project are teaming up with American Legion Post 129 to host a series of pancake breakfasts, and we need your help to pull them off. Every dollar raised supports all three of our programs: American Legion Post 129, Portland Backpacks for Bellies, and The Soup Project.

This week at The Soup Project, our kitchen was full of the best volunteers anyone could ask for. 💛
They don’t just show up to make soup. They jump in on anything we ask, every single time, with open hands and big hearts. That kind of generosity is what keeps this work going.
On the menu this week:
🥦 Cream of broccoli with cheese
🍎 Apple cranberry fiber muffins
To every volunteer who chopped, stirred, baked, packed, cleaned, and said “sure, what else?” THANK YOU. You make this community stronger.

Tomorrow’s the big day! We’ve got three soups on the menu: our famous twice baked potato, chicken noodle, and cream of broccoli with cheese. We also baked up some delicious muffins in cranberry raisin, mango coconut, and blueberry banana. Stop by, sample our soups, and help support a great cause!
