The votes are in! 🗳️ Festivalgoers at Hood River Orchard & Ale Festival last weekend voted for their favorite craft b**rs brewed with regionally grown Salmon-Safe certified hops. 🥇1st place Evasion Brewing - Bountiful IPA with Coleman Agriculture Mosaic hops. 🥈2nd place Barsideous Brewing - 12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus with Crosby Estate Grown Hops.🥉 3rd place

Kings & Daughters Brewery - Fill Your Cup IPA with Coleman Agriculture hops.

🐟Salmon-Safe certified crops 🌱are grown using standards that help keep our rivers cool, clean and plentiful so salmon can thrive. A Salmon-Safe certified farm is 🐞reducing pesticide use through integrated pest management, 🌼conserving habitat and biodiversity, preventing erosion, using water efficiently and more.

For the 2nd year in a row, Salmon-Safe is proud to partner with the Hood River Orchard and Ale Fest to promote sustainably grown hops and the b**rs brewed with them!

Salmon-Safe works with PNW hop growers to farm in a way that protects our watersheds and the cool, clean water that salmon need to thrive. Thanks to forward-thinking hop farmers, many of your local fresh-hop b**rs are made with hops grown this way. The Orchard and Ale Fest this weekend is a great showcase of over a dozen of these delicious Salmon-Safe fresh hop b**rs!

To celebrate these special b**rs, Salmon-Safe is sponsoring a Fresh Hop Drinker’s Choice Competition at the festival. Look for b**rs with the Salmon-Safe logo at the festival, and when you find your favorite, cast your ballot. Stop by the Salmon-Safe booth on Saturday to learn more about protecting salmon with your b**r choices. Cheers to sustainable b**rs! 🍻🐟

Salmon-Safe is seeking a consultant to help strengthen and diversify market channels for Idaho-grown grains and other commodities by leveraging industry relationships and developing new commercial partnerships.

The work will focus on connecting growers with buyers who value sustainability, regional sourcing, traceability, and verified environmental stewardship.

🍻🐟The Wild Salmon Festival is coming to Portland’s Central Eastside in honor of International Wild Salmon Day! On May 31 you’ll find cideries, breweries, distilleries, fly-fishing demos from , native plant starts, farmers (including , & Pleasant Valley C***r Apples), the and more gathering at to celebrate clean rivers, wild salmon, and the certified farmers going the extra mile to protect them both! Taste beverages made from Salmon-Safe certified apples, hops & barley and raise a toast to the PNW! 🍏🍺🌾🌲💧
