Please join us on Saturday, August 22nd from 8:45 AM - 1:00 PM for our annual Johnson Creek Clean-up! Together, we have removed over 70 tons of trash from the creek since we began this beloved tradition, and are excited to see how much we can pull this year!

There are 9 sites available to choose from, including 2 land-based sites. We'll meet at Johnson Creek Park at 12:00 PM for a free lunch, community-building, and award ceremony for who pulled the coolest piece of trash from the creek.

The deadline to submit your art for our annual t-shirt contest is fast approaching! Winners will receive a t-shirt, a platform for your art and brand, AND a $200 award! Email your designs to [email protected] by August 2nd to be considered. The winner will be contacted on August 3rd.

JCWC staff joined the Transportation & Development team at Clackamas County for a wet and muddy morning. Fish, lamprey, crawfish, snails, and giant salamanders were transported to a safe area of the creek as crews get ready to remove two culverts that have been a fish passage barrier. Stay tuned for updates on this project over the summer!
