Yesterday we competed at the Miklo Arnold Invitational in Hillsboro, OR. We only had Aaron Montes on deck up against a game opponent from California, and after 3 hard fought rounds, we were awarded the victory! Much respect to our opponent and his team, as it was down to the wire the entire match. Special thanks to Miklo, Jason, and their family for hosting a great event. **Mark your Calendars** It’s that time of year again... the 9th Annual Rip City Fall Classic Tournament will be Oct 10th and 11th at Parkrose Middle School in NE Portland. This is one of the largest 2-day tournaments in the West Coast with 2 rings, 3 sessions/shows over 2 days. All boxers, skill levels are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to face equal skilled opponents and for the more experienced boxers; opponents coming from outside of the PNW.

We are excited to announce that this year, we will be sponsored by Portland Guadalajara Sister City Association! Registration will be done through Xallenger, and PGSCA will be supporting us in continuing to bring a memorable event to the community.

Let’s make this another big year and the best one to date! Fact sheet info will weigh-ins and host hotels will be released in the next week.

Yesterday we competed at the Beaverton Boxing Team🥊 Summer Fight Night Event. Jaiden was our only guy on deck and after a three hard fought rounds he was able to bring home the win. We’re proud of the hard work that he put in and happy that our team came deep to support.

Thanks to Coach Charlie and Ibrahim for another great event. Onto the next one, let’s go Rip City!

Yesterday we came to compete at Toe 2 Toe’s Never Give Up show in Salem, Oregon, with Enoc, Aaron, Leo, and Abdulla lined up with matches. All four fought hard and left with their hands raised, leaving us undefeated for the night. Very proud of the continued hard work that’s put in by our team, we’re happy to see it pay off.

Special shout out to Abdulla for getting his first win in his amateur career, and Aaron for coming out on top as the main event after going to war with his opponent.

Huge thanks to Adam Navarro and Toe 2 Toe Boxing for the event, we’re excited for the next one🥊
