Oregon child care providers — applications are now open for the 2026–2027 Oregon Business Leadership Cohort!

Eligible providers can apply for the opportunity to participate in FCF-led training, consultation, and business advising focused on strengthening child care business operations and sustainability.

Participants who complete all Oregon BLC requirements may earn a $2,400 incentive.

What banks almost always ask for: a government-issued photo ID for owners/signers; a Tax ID (EIN, or SSN/ITIN for some sole proprietors); legal business name, address, and contact info; plus formation documents when applicable (Articles of Organization/Inc., operating agreement, partnership agreement, or DBA certificate). Banks may also request a business license and an initial deposit, and each owner or signer often needs their own ID and tax info.

If you’re formalizing your program or preparing to grow, separating personal and business finances makes bookkeeping, taxes, and licensing simpler-and helps your program look and run more professional.
