Relay Resources is a leading disability social enterprise nonprofit in the Pacific Northwest, with a mission to transform workplaces and communities by championing disability inclusion

We employ nearly 900 team members in four lines of business: building solutions, which includes janitorial, landscaping, and floor care services; document solutions; supply chain solutions; and disability inclusion and accessibility consulting services. Additionally, Relay operates three programs: Supported Employment, which places and supports disabled people in competitive jobs in the community; abilIT, a new cybersecurity and technology training and job placement program; and Affordable Housing, which manages 850 units for 1,500 residents, 27% of whom have a family member with a disability. We’re still feeling the energy from DisabilityNext™ Summit this week. 💚

The energy and sense of inclusion in the room were palpable, and this day 2 recap reel captures just a glimpse of it. Over two days, leaders, innovators, advocates, and changemakers came together to learn, share, connect, and explore what’s next for disability inclusion in the workplace.

People left with new connections, practical strategies, and actionable takeaways to bring back to their workplaces and put into practice. That’s what DisabilityNext™ is about: sharing innovative ideas, learning from one another, and turning conversations into action that advances disability inclusion in the workplace.

DisabilityNext™ 2026 is next week! 🎉

Meet speaker Rob Snow, Executive Director of the CEO Commission for Disability Employment.

Rob works at the intersection of disability employment, policy, workplace practices, and culture change. He is also the co-founder of Stand Up For Downs and creator of The Improvaneer Method, which uses improvisation to build skills and expand opportunities for people with Down syndrome.

Next week, we are honored to have Rob joining other leaders, futurists, and innovators from across the country at DisabilityNext™ to exchange ideas, challenge existing approaches, and explore what it takes to advance disability inclusion at work!

Relay Resources Day Porter Angella Luttrell and Data Imaging Operator David Marple traveled to Washington, D.C., for the SourceAmerica Grassroots Conference to share their experiences and advocate for disability employment.

Joined by Relay colleagues Nadja Sailesman and Jetamio Kennedy, Angella and David met with staff from the offices of Oregon Sens. Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden and Reps. Susan Bonamici and Maxine Dexter to discuss their experiences, what matters most to them, and the importance of equitable employment opportunities for disabled people.

We’re proud and grateful to have Angella and David representing Relay Resources and bringing the voices of disabled employees directly to Capitol Hill.
