She didn't wait for the door to open.
She built the house.
A story for every small business owner who ever wondered if anyone saw them fighting.
There was a woman who looked around and saw something that broke her heart and lit a fire in her at the same time.
She saw brilliant people β entrepreneurs with vision, hustle, and God-given gifts β struggling not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked community. No one in their corner. No table big enough to hold their dreams. No voice saying: "I see you. Keep going."
She could have looked away. She could have told herself it wasn't her problem. But something deep in her β something she now knows was purpose wearing the clothes of restlessness β would not let her rest.
So she didn't wait.
"She picked up what she had β her faith, her story, her voice β and she started building. One post. One training. One life at a time."
That is how EBB was born.
Not from a boardroom. Not from a business plan written in comfort. But from a woman on her knees saying, "God, if You've put this in me, show me how to pour it out." And He did. He sent the people. He opened the doors. He confirmed β over and over again β that this was never just an idea. This was an assignment.
Today, EBB is more than a foundation. It is a movement of small business owners across Nigeria who have found their tribe β a place where faith meets strategy, where community replaces isolation, where someone who has been where you are reaches back and says, "Come. There is room for you here too."
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
JEREMIAH 29:11
That verse is not a comfort verse to her. It is a business strategy. It is the reason she shows up β to content, to training, to community β even when the work is hard and the results feel invisible. Because she knows: God's plans don't fail. And neither do the people who align with them.
