Calling all students in grades 8–12! Help plan the 5th Youth Climate Summit, explore climate solutions, connect with change makers, and build leadership skills. The Summit takes place April 3, 2027, at the Port Washington Public Library.

Floral Pumpkins Workshop

🍂 Fall Forward with Residents Forward

Fall is a season to gather around the table, in the garden and with each other.

Join Residents Forward and Port resident Kate Walz of KW Gardens + Flowers, a horticulturist, garden and floral designer and consultant for a relaxed evening of creativity, community and some fall garden tips.

🌸 Create your own beautiful floral pumpkin with dried flowers and botanicals perfect for your fall table or to gift this season.

🍁 While creating, we’ll talk around the table about ways to care for our gardens this season from fall clean-up and Leave the Leaves to preserving flowers and composting pumpkins.

Let’s roll up our sleeves and give the Village of Manorhaven some community love!

Join Residents Forward on Saturday, October 17 at 9 AM for Clean Green Manorhaven** — an all-hands-on-deck community cleanup.

Volunteer: Pick up litter, and help make Manorhaven cleaner and greener. Student, team, and Scout troop volunteer hours are available!

Join us Tuesday, October 13, 6–7 PM for the kickoff of the 2027 Youth Climate Summit Student Planning Committee.

Since 2018, 500+ local students have participated in Residents Forward’s Youth Climate Summits. Now, it’s your turn to help create the 5th YCS, happening April 3, 2027, at the Port Washington Public Library.

This isn’t just a one-day event. It’s a 6-month, student-led leadership experience where you’ll help plan our next Summit:

Art Walk PW ’26 was a community-powered and resident-fueled masterpiece! Brought to life by an incredible team of volunteers, artists, musicians, merchants, sponsors and community partners who poured their time, talent and creativity into Upper Main Street.

From the Artist Trunk Show and live music to merchant activations, community art, murals, gardens and the classic Car Show, the day celebrated the creativity, connection and walkability that makes Port Washington so beautiful.

While the Art Walk ‘26 event may be over, our work continues.
