Port Washington Chapter of CancerCare CancerCare is a national nonprofit organization that provides free, professional support services for anyone affected by cancer.

This is the Port Washington Chapter of the CancerCare organization. Our main function is fundraising. Our biggest fundraiser each year is the annual Red Stocking Revue variety show produced in Port Washington.

Last month, CancerCare partnered with Pal-O-Mine Equestrian to offer healing, connection and support through Equine Assisted Wellness experiences. The agenda included mindfulness activities with horses, educational sessions about animals and natural horsemanship. Both patients and caregivers had the opportunity to participate and bond during this event.
