🏠❤️ **UPDATE:** Construction continues for the family who lost everything in a devastating fire.

What started with heartbreak is slowly becoming a story of hope.

Walls are going up, progress is being made, and little by little, this family is getting closer to having a place they can call home again.

But we aren’t just helping build a house. We’re linking arms with this family as they rebuild their future, and we’re committed to walking alongside them every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone who has given, prayed, and made this possible. This is what happens when people choose to love their neighbors well.

What a FULL weekend! ❤️🇭🇳

We spent the weekend looking at potential projects for a feeding center and a school, speaking and sharing about Jesus, spending time with kids on the streets, making sure a few hungry bellies had something to eat, and simply doing our best to love people well.

Some moments were planned. A lot of them weren’t. But sometimes ministry is simply seeing the person God puts in front of you and choosing to stop, listen, love, and serve.

We believe deeply in equipping the next generation to impact their world for God. Sometimes that looks like building a school or feeding center. Sometimes it looks like sharing the hope of Jesus. And sometimes it’s just sitting with a kid, sharing a meal, and reminding them that they are seen and loved.

We finished the night at church with an incredible Kids Day celebration with over 300 kids! Games, laughter, food, and a whole lot of energy filled the place. 😂 More importantly, hundreds of kids were surrounded by people who love them and want them to know how deeply Jesus loves them too.

And because apparently we hadn’t driven enough this weekend, one of our guys accidentally left with the pastor’s wife’s phone, which meant a little unexpected backtracking to finish off the adventure. 😂

A full weekend. A lot of miles. A lot of laughs. A LOT of kids. And so many opportunities to point the next generation toward Jesus.

Love God. Love people. Invest in the next generation. ❤️🇭🇳

Yesterday we had the privilege of celebrating Kids Day in La Unión, Cofradía. ❤️🇭🇳

This is a community with very limited resources, where many people earn around $10 a day. But one incredible teacher had a vision to give these kids a day they would never forget, and she worked hard to make it happen.

Piñatas, candy, hamburgers, pizza, games, and lots of laughter. Things that may seem simple to many of us, but for some of these kids, this was an experience they may have never had otherwise.

What impacted me most was watching this teacher and others in the community pour so much love into their kids. They may not have a lot of resources, but they are rich in love and committed to investing in the next generation.

We simply had the privilege of linking arms with them and being a small part of something they were already making happen.

This is what we love about what we get to do. Equipping the next generation alongside people who love them deeply and believe in their future. ❤️

What a special day!

Well… today was a first. 😂⛽️🇭🇳

We headed up the mountain, got lost, had ZERO cell signal, and then realized we were running on fumes.

After stopping to ask what felt like half the mountain where we could find gas, we finally found a little store that had some.

Gas station? Nope.

A gallon jug of fuel and a funnel? Absolutely. 😂

Nothing makes you question your life choices quite like standing on the side of a mountain pouring gas out of a jug into your vehicle.

Prepared? Not even a little bit.

But hey… we made some new friends, eventually found our way, and learned a valuable lesson:

Next time, fill up BEFORE going up the mountain. 😂🇭🇳

🎉🇭🇳 Kids Day in Honduras! 🇭🇳🎉

What an incredible day celebrating with more than 300 kids! ❤️

Games, laughter, music, smiles, and a whole lot of fun. There is something special about seeing this many kids together simply getting the chance to be kids and know that they are loved.

We believe the next generation is worth investing in. Every smile matters. Every child matters. Every opportunity to love, encourage, and point them toward a future filled with hope matters.

Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep loving. Let’s keep investing in the next generation! ❤️🙌🇭🇳

Today we get to celebrate Kids Day with about 50 incredible kids at a school in El Mango! ❤️🇭🇳

This community may have limited resources, but there is definitely no shortage of smiles, laughter, and some amazing teachers who welcomed us with open arms.

Songs, piñatas, candy, games, and of course… CAKE! 🎂

James is still waiting for someone to bring the gluten-free cake 😂, but at least there is plenty for all the kids!

Days like today are a reminder of why we love what we get to do. Showing up, loving kids well, supporting great teachers, and bringing a little extra joy to their day.

It’s going to be a FUN day! ❤️

Tonight, I decided to take a little R&R and go watch Spider-Man. 🎬🕷️

The ticket was only $2, but while I was buying it, the person helping me did something that blessed me in a much bigger way.

Sometimes God uses the simplest moments and the most unexpected people to remind us of His goodness.

We are helping fund a new feeding center, while local volunteers are building it after work hours.

A community coming together to feed their children physically and share the hope of Jesus with them.

What an honor to link arms with people who love their community so well!

One of the most beautiful parts of this work is watching Hondurans step up to serve Hondurans. ❤️🇭🇳

In a world where it can be easy to wait for someone else to help, people from our own community chose to show up, give what they could, work hard, and be part of making a difference for another family.

This is what we want Paradise Foundation to be about. Not outsiders coming in to “save the day,” but people linking arms together, using what God has given each of us, and loving our neighbors well.

Some give financially. Some give their time. Some give their skills. Some simply show up ready to work.

But when we all bring what we have, God can do something beautiful with it.

This is Honduras helping Honduras. And I absolutely love it. ❤️🇭🇳
