Prairie Riders Snowmobile Club is one of the largest and most active snowmobiling clubs in Kenosha County, based out of Pleasant Prairie in southeastern Wisconsin. We meet on the third Wednesday of most months in the Wisconsin Room at the Brat Stop, Kenosha, Wis., at 7:30 p.m. All members of the Prairie Riders Snowmobile Club automatically become members of the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile
Clubs (AWSC) as well. We plan club snowmobiling trips and rides, summer picnics and camping, volleyball league, Oktoberfest party, winter party, breakfast ride and more. We are an active and growing club who offers events that appeal to the whole family. Wisconsin's 25,000 miles of snowmobiling trails -- some of the finest in the nation -- are cleared, marked, maintained and groomed by thousands of volunteer members of snowmobiling clubs across the state. Without Wisconsin's snowmobile clubs, there would be no trails! No taxpayer funds are used to create or maintain snowmobile trails. If you enjoy snowmobiling in Wisconsin, consider joining a local club. Your annual dues help fund trail development and maintenance, and your volunteer efforts can help preserve and even expand the trails. During the snowmobiling season, call the Kenosha County hotline at 262-671-4944 for current trails status (open or closed). Visit www.prairieriders.net to learn more.
