Applications are open! We're thrilled to bring the Advocacy Leadership Institute (ALI) to Southwestern Pennsylvania and welcome the region's first cohort of this program, designed exclusively for leaders of arts and culture nonprofits.
As the sector's policy and funding landscape grows more complex, ALI equips participants to advocate with clarity, credibility, and confidence, at both the local and state levels. Licensed from CreativeOhio, the six month program pairs expert instruction with peer learning and hands-on field experiences, covering how policy gets made, how public funding flows, and how to build lasting relationships with elected officials and community leaders.
Cohort members will meet on the third Tuesday of each month, January through June 2027.
Applications close September 30, 2026.
🔗 Curious? Link in comments to learn more & register free virtual info session on Thursday, August 20, 9-10 a.m. to meet program leaders and get your questions answered before applying.
