We are thankful that Pennsylvania's state arts agency is restoring a funding program for smaller arts groups after listening to our feedback. But we join arts advocates statewide in calling on the agency to roll back other recent changes, and on legislators to increase arts funding across the Commonwealth.

Pennsylvania Creative Industries Powered by Pennsylvania Council on the Arts is creating a new fund for small arts groups to replace one it cut last year.

This month Creative Hive, our free community building event, is headed to the South Side’s legendary City Theatre! 🎭

Come enjoy City Theatre’s outdoor courtyard and tour of their extensive, behind-the-scene spaces like their main stage, black box theatre, rehearsal studio, scene shop and costume shop.

Founded in 1975, City Theatre is in its 51st season as Pittsburgh’s home for bold new plays. Their mission is to provide an artistic home for the development and production of contemporary plays that engage and challenge a diverse audience.

Creative Hive is heading to McKees Rocks! ✨Next week, meet us at Father Ryan Arts Center at Focus On Renewal.

This community arts center has dedicated spaces for nearly every creative discipline — including a culinary kitchen, gallery, theater, and ceramic and arts studios. They offer low-cost classes in visual arts, theater, music, dance, and literary arts for all ages, plus free multicultural events year-round. Come tour the space and learn more!
