Touchdown for Pittsburgh's global reputation. A new report puts Pittsburgh’s NFL Draft worldwide exposure value at $1.5 billion, with 8.6 billion broadcast impressions and 55 million viewers watching from around the globe, more social buzz than any NFL Draft city before us.
At home, the event generated $177 million in regional economic impact, supported 164 local businesses, and raised $1 million to fight hunger in western PA, with nearly 60,000 pounds of food rescued for local nonprofits.
Not every business felt the boost equally, but the spotlight on Pittsburgh is one for the highlight reel.
