Here's one of the sessions you can look forward to, presented by Tony Rosado:

“Broaden your Practice: Fundamental Differences in Simultaneous & Consecutive Interpreting for Court, Healthcare, and Conference Work”
Globalization, artificial intelligence, and government policies have disrupted interpreting in a way not seen since the Nuremberg trials eighty years ago. In the United States, interpreting is not a regulated profession, and the market economy defines all interactions between interpreters and their clients. The future of many interpreters is linked to diversification and specialization. This presentation will explore both options and provide a better understanding of what is required and immutable in three of the most popular fields of the profession: court, healthcare, and conference interpreting. Being exposed to the fundamentals and different characteristics of simultaneous and consecutive interpretation helps us assess our skills and will to learn, change, and adapt to diversify or specialize to open new opportunities. We will see how simultaneous and consecutive renditions differ, the reasons for it, and how to acquire or hone the skills needed to add to our practice, or improve what we already do.
