Over the last 37 years, we have provided purpose-driven service experiences that have improved the lives of some 27,000 American volunteers while at the same time helping those not born into our same fortunate circumstances.

Before Kenya was a physical therapist and clinic owner, she was a Rancho Feliz Guardian Warrior scholarship student with a dream.

Today, she works with children on the autism spectrum in Caborca, Sonora, providing therapy and support to children and their families.

Her bilingual education opened doors far beyond the classroom, including opportunities to attend international conferences and learn from experts in sensory therapy.

The impact of a scholarship doesn’t end at graduation. It continues through the careers our students build and the communities they strengthen.

Kenya’s story began with an opportunity. Today, she’s creating opportunities for others. 💜

Each year, we’re honored to welcome Border Community Alliance’s Ambassador Internship Program to Rancho Feliz.

Their annual visit offers an opportunity to explore our programs, hear inspiring stories from our community, and spend time together at La Hacienda. These experiences create space to connect, learn from one another, and strengthen the partnerships that make this work possible.

Every graduation marks the beginning of a new chapter, and we couldn’t be prouder of these incredible students. 🎓✨

This year, six students graduated from junior high at COLEGIO AMERICANO ANAIS and will continue their educational journey this August at our partner school, Colegio Benemérito de las Américas. We also celebrate four kindergarten graduates who are excited to begin first grade.

Some souls leave footprints far beyond the paths they walk.

For years, Leo welcomed volunteers, protected La Hacienda Feliz, and brought comfort to everyone who crossed his path. Whether he was walking beside guests, standing watch at the gate, or quietly keeping Antonio company, he embodied the love, loyalty, and spirit that make Rancho Feliz feel like home.

Thank you, Antonio and Reyes, for loving and caring for Leo so faithfully throughout his life.

Thank you, Leo, for every greeting, every walk, every watchful night, and every memory. Your pawprints are forever woven into the story of Rancho Feliz, and your gentle spirit will always have a place in our hearts.

Cultivating Leaders for a Sustainable Future 🌿💜

Today we proudly celebrate Rancho Feliz Scholar Michelle Jacqueline Ramírez Peñalver, a resident of Vecinos Dignos, for earning 🥈 Second Place in the Youth Division of the Recycled Materials Dress Competition at the 4th Environmental Expo 2026 in Agua Prieta, Sonora.

Michelle’s remarkable design transformed recycled materials into a powerful artistic statement promoting environmental awareness, creativity, and sustainability. As an active member of VeVerde, the school’s environmental club, Michelle continues to inspire others through her commitment to protecting our planet and creating positive change in her community.

We also recognize the support of Colegio Anais, Colegio Benemérito de las Américas, her teachers, mentors, family, and the entire VeVerde community who helped make this accomplishment possible.
