A charitable organization providing financial aid from the heart for the care and health needs of our four-footed friends who gave us their hearts.

Two Pups Wellness Fund was launched in 2017 with a mission to help save the lives of ill, injured, abandoned, and neglected animals through animal shelters and rescue organizations. Our vision is to stop the unnecessary suffering and euthanasia of treatable animals by helping to alleviate the financial burden on the rescue community and allow pets to receive the care they need to return to a healthy, pain free life. We are an Arizona nonprofit providing financial aid programs to qualified animal rescues and municipal shelters for the medical care and treatment of animals in need, so they have a chance to survive and thrive.

Happy Wellness Wednesday!

It's time for a fall allergy check-in. 🍂

Allergies can affect pups when the seasons change, just as they do for their humans.

Dust, dry air, pollen, and more are some common triggers. Here's what to look out for:

Excessive paw licking or chewing🐾
Itchy or irritated ears🐶
Frequent scratching🐕
Watery or irritated eyes👀
Red or irritated skin❌

If you notice any of these symptoms, contact your veterinarian to learn what treatment or medication will work best for your pup!💙

When Good Omen Dog Rescue discovered Eddie, they found that he'd been extremely neglected, his fur was matted, he was underweight, suffering from damaged teeth, poor vision, a heart murmur, along with other seriously concerning health issues.

Thankfully Two Pups was able to collaborate with Good Open Rescue to assist with the funding needed to suppor Eddie's medical care. He underwent dental extractions and a neuter to help address a tumor that was discovered during his exam. Since surgery, his health has approved. He's eating more, gaining weight, and getting stronger everyday.

A HUGE thank you to Good Omen Dog Resue for fighting for him and giving him the second chance he deserves.

It's officially pumpkin season!

While we are enjoying our Pumpkin Spice Lattes, it's nice for our pups to enjoy pumpkin season too!

Pumpkin is packed with fiber, vitamins, and nutrients that can help support healthy digestion and overall wellness. Here's a fun and healthy recipe to try.

Remember - 100% pure pumpkin for the pups, PSLs for the humans!

Maintaining your pup's dental hygiene is just as important as maintaining your own. If you don't take proper care of your pup's teeth, they can experience plaque buildup just like we do. This can turn into tartar, which accumulates around the gum lines and causes irritation, which can eventually lead to gum inflammation (gingivitis), bone/soft tissue loss, and gum disease.

The good news is, these diseases are preventable with regular dental care. Brushing your pup's teeth at least 2-3 times a week can prevent overall issues in the long run.

A few simple habits can keep those smiles healthy and happy!

A tiny chip can make a big difference!

Three years ago, Koda ran away from home during the chaos of a family tragedy. Years passed with no sign of him, until someone found Koda on the street and brought him to Maricopa County Animal Care & Control.

Thanks to his microchip, MCACC was able to contact his owner, who came right away. Koda recognized him instantly. His eyes lit up, his tail started wagging and he couldn’t wait to get back to his owner.

Through our partnership with MCACC and the Return to Owner Microchip Program, Two Pups helps provide microchips for dogs being reunited with their families, giving more lost pets a chance to find their way home. Since 2018, Two Pups' RTO Microchip Program has helped more than 10,000 dogs reunite with their owners.

Koda’s story is a great reminder. Microchip your pets and always keep your contact information up to date. You never know when it could bring them home.

Every pup deserves to be someones first choice.

This is a reminder to look twice at the pups who are often overlooked. Seniors, pups with disabilities, medical needs and those who simply don’t “stand out” in a crowded shelter aren't picked for adoption as often as we would hope.

At Two Pups Wellness Fund, we know a medical diagnosis doesn’t make a pup any less deserving of a loving home. By helping fund critical veterinary care, we give rescue dogs a better chance to heal, thrive and find the families they’ve been waiting for.

Sometimes the unexpected can change your life for the better.

We are so happy to see that Ophelia made it home!

Ophelia became sick with leptospirosis and needed extensive vetirnary care to help her survive. Thanks to your support, Two Pups Wellness Fund was able to step in and provide funding to help cover the cost of the lifesaving treatment she desperately needed. After more than a week in the ICU and an incredibly tough fight, Ophelia is back at home where she belongs.

A huge shoutout to Paws_Without_Borders for never giving up on her and doing everything possible to get her the care she needed. We’re also grateful for 15/10 Foundation and Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911) for joining us in providing financial support for Ophelia’s care. It truly takes a village!

The best part yet is that her foster has decided to make her a permanent part of the family. We are so happy for you Ophelia! Here's to new chapter, wishing you the best life.

In the month of August, 25 dogs were saved by 7 rescue partners through Project Get Out (PGO)! Sending a huge thank you to Rescue Street, Heart of Infinity Rescue, Desert Haven Sanctuary , Alone No More Dog Rescue, Rotten Rottie Rescue, onelove, and Paw Posse Animal Rescue. Through PGO our rescue partners are helping to save these sweet pups from a long stay at a shelter and the potential risks. Thank you to all that jumped in to help this month and to all our donors that make it possible. We couldn't do it without you! 💙
