AMVCC was asked to provide military vehicles to help honor Micael, a 38-year-old Army E6 combat veteran who deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and served with the 855th MP Company. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, and his 11-year-old son, Maddox. This is an important opportunity for our club to support his family, fellow veterans, and final honors. We will arrive in convoy, hand off the remains to one of his commanding officers, who will set the remains and wreath, then salute as the service begins.

A Fist Full of Dollars... for History.

Sometimes preserving history isn't just about restoring a vehicle.

Sometimes it's about helping keep them moving.

The Arizona Military Vehicle Collectors Club (AMVCC) members raised over $1,000 to send longtime member Albert eastbound on the 2026 Military Vehicle Preservation Association - MVPA Lewis & Clark Historic Convoy with a fist full of dollars (and a few other surprises) to help convoy participants offset fuel costs along the route.

Every dollar collected goes right back into what matters most, keeping more than 50 historic military vehicles rolling over 2,100 miles while bringing living history to communities across America.

The Lewis & Clark Convoy isn't just a road trip. It's veterans, families, collectors, restorers, and volunteers sharing history where it happened. Every stop creates opportunities for people to experience these remarkable vehicles up close and hear the stories they carry.

If you'd like to help keep history on the move, you can contribute directly to the official MVPA Convoy fuel fund here:
