This summer, Snider student Peter Buonadonna used the Immersive Learning Fund to join Educational Tours Journey Down Under for a 15 day adventure in the South Pacific. From snorkeling with marine biologists through the Great Berrier Reef to enjoying a traditional Māori dinner, this guided adventure connected Peter with global cultures, world history, and natural sciences.

The Friends of Snider Leadership Committee have directed their fundraising efforts towards a new scholarship opportunity for high school students: the Immersive Learning Fund. This scholarship is designed to encourage Snider students in 9th through 12th grade to consider participating in unique, hands-on opportunities to improve their skills and bolster their experience academically, athletically, artistically, and/or professionally. This summer, $9,000 was awarded to Snider students!
