🧡🤍🖤 Chipotle & Atlas Update! 🖤🤍🧡

These two adorable best friends continue to make us smile every day.

Atlas recently got neutered and has discovered one of his favorite hobbies: shoulder surfing. If you’re standing still for more than a few seconds, there’s a good chance Atlas will be perched on your shoulder, supervising your every move.

Chipotle has been making incredible progress in foster care. This sweet girl is slowly but surely coming out of her shell and recently took a huge step forward by eating treats right from her foster’s hand. Watching her learn to trust has been so rewarding.

While Atlas is ready for the spotlight and will be making a special appearance at our upcoming adoption event on June 14th, Chipotle prefers a quieter life behind the scenes. She’s a little too shy for the celebrity treatment, but she’s cheering her brother on from home.

These two are a bonded pair and will need a forever home together. Atlas brings the confidence, Chipotle brings the sweetness, and together they make the perfect team.

🚨 HOWIE UPDATE! 🚨

Howie would like to file an official complaint.

Complaint #1: His home disappeared.Complaint #2: Nobody consulted him about it. Complaint #3: He is currently accepting applications for a new staff of devoted humans.

After spending over a year in a home, Howie found himself back with us through no fault of his own. Since returning, he’s been winning over everyone at the hospital. He’s become our favorite lunch break buddy, loves attention, enjoys playtime, and has been doing well with slow introductions to other cats.

At over 17 pounds of handsome perfection, Howie comes with opinions, personality, and enough love to fill your entire house.

Trauma bonds are real. ❤️

Penny came from a place of unimaginable neglect, fear, and uncertainty. Through it all, she found comfort in the cats she shared that experience with.

Today, One Eyed W***y (orange) and Captain Jack (black) left for their foster home to begin the next chapter of their journey. Before they left, Penny made sure to check on them one last time. She gently kissed them goodbye, as if she knew exactly what was happening.

It’s impossible to know everything these animals have endured, but moments like this remind us how deeply they feel, how strongly they connect, and how much love they still have to give despite everything they’ve been through.

We’re so grateful that One Eyed W***y and Captain Jack are headed to safety and love, and we can’t wait to watch them thrive. Penny got her turn too. Tonight she also left for foster care. 🖤🧡

Stay tuned for the last two cats that were rescued from the house who arrived with us today.Their stories are just beginning, and we can’t wait to introduce them to all of you. This happened because multiple rescues and volunteers worked together. Thank you we are proud to have saved these lives with you.

PENNY IS SAFE. ❤️

Today, Penny left behind a life of filth, neglect, and unimaginable conditions and took her first steps toward safety, love, and a brighter future. We don’t know her name, so we are starting with Penny

Despite everything she has endured, the sweetest part came almost immediately. As soon as she heard the cats rescued from the same property, she gravitated toward them. After all she has been through, she was searching for something familiar, something that reminded her she wasn’t alone.

For now, Penny will decompress, receive the veterinary care she needs, and finally experience what it feels like to be safe. As we learn more about her and help her heal, we’ll share updates on her journey. When she’s ready, Penny will be available for adoption.

Today, we’re simply grateful she’s out.

A huge thank you to , , Marie, and for helping make this rescue possible. Because of teamwork, compassion, and people willing to step up, Penny is finally getting the safety, comfort, and love she has been desperately waiting for.

Blue was taken in by Fishtails on February 24. She was covered in sores, infested with fleas, and showed signs of being forced to live in her own waste. No cat should have to endure such trauma and neglect, especially Blue, who was not a stray found on the street, but a family pet of over 10 years. Blue was ignored, neglected, and, ultimately, dumped at the shelter.

Blue is a strong lady whose resilience can be a lesson for us all. Now that she has had the time to recuperate with one of our loving fosters, Blue has learned to cat again. She enjoys her feather toy, loves wet food, and is crazy for catnip. Blue warms up as she gets to know you, and then goes all in, on her terms. Blue is likely best suited as your one and only. After what she experienced, we understand.
