✊️ Our Organizing Institute concluded on Wednesday and was a huge success! Thank you to all of our colleagues who showed up and committed to organizing in preparation for a new academic year! A strong reminder that when we come together, we have the power to advocate for the change we believe in.

Did you know that in 2023, over 1000 faculty, advisors, librarians, and researchers voted "no-confidence" in Mitch Morgan's leadership of the Board of Trustees and Temple University? Mitch Morgan, a multi-billionaire real-estate mogul, has a history of avoiding accountability for his actions at Temple University, while students and workers have paid the price for his poor decisions--focusing on real estate rather than classrooms.

👉️ Mitch Morgan, when asked for comment after the voting results, claimed he was acting in the best interest of the students, faculty, staff, and university mission.
💬 If Mitch knows best, why won't he respond to our questions now about how these budget cuts are cutting the faculty and resources that students rely on?
