Men Of Courage PHL The Empowerment Achievement Movement (T.E.A.M) is a community based 501c3 nonprofit organization which holds a mentorship program called Men Of Courage.

Men Of Courage’s mission is to empower our communities by promoting the academic, mental, social, emotional, financial, and career development of the next generation of young male leaders. Men Of Courage was created to empower young men of color of the community & abroad with exposure leading to a lifestyle of excellence; preparing them to be productive, responsible, & successful citizens of socie

ty. Men Of Courage offers early intervention and initiatives to Reshape the identity of black male youth in our city through our mission of empowerment through exposure. We provide workshops and seminars that focus on professional, personal, career, & community development, along with fun filled activities & outings that cultivate unity & brotherhood. We believe that mentorship & creating safe spaces for group & one on one trauma informed care, mentoring, mental health first aid, and emotional and social intelligence will be the key to redirecting the self-destruction of our young men. One of our core beliefs is that if we reshape the role and identity of the Black Male, we reshape the identity of the Black family and the Black community. Our Vision

We believe that empowerment comes through exposure to past, current, & future events such as this that will encourage unity, strength, courage, & wisdom. Our Goals
1. Expose youth to professional, historical, cultural, community, and educational events and activities.
2. Conduct skill based preparation workshops and seminars for youth.
3. Raise awareness and standards of excellence amongst youth.
4. Enjoy fulfilled outings that will encourage unity & keep the young men engaged.
5 We provide Community service hours to encourage and build their value as youth community leaders.
6 Job training through lawn care services, auto detailing, screen printing, barbering and ServSafe Certification. Encouraging youth entrepreneurship & exposure to trade skills.

Yesterday, I shared my testimony of faith, forgiveness, and healing with our Young Kings at Parkway Northwest and my Brothers in the work
Transparency is leadership — and if my story can help one young man release what’s been holding him, it’s worth it.

I opened up about my journey with my father: the hurt, the growth, the forgiveness, and the restoration.
Because real healing is possible.
Because breaking generational curses is necessary.
And because our Young Kings deserve to see that strength isn’t found in silence — it’s found in truth.

We heal together.
We rise together.

We are excited to team up with my TBC family Councilmen & Pastor .c.christian State Representative and for a community service event for our Young Kings to serve families in need

It's happening this Saturday November 22, 2025 starting at 10am until supplies run out! They're giving out over 1400 turkeys and chickens, 1400 pies, and a mind blowing 7000 slides!!

Plus, there will be coats and clothing available too so help spread the word & let's get people to meet us at 5801 N Broad St

Our Young King Sun Rah had the opportunity of a lifetime yesterday! Through his dedication to our weekly Multimedia Training Program, he was recruited to gain real-world experience in lighting and video production — right inside City Hall! 🎥💡

Major thanks to our community partner for creating pathways and real-life opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and shine. 🌟
