And our work continues….
Every year for the past 22 years, we celebrate families who just need a little support during the holiday season. And this year, my organization International People’s Storehouse (TIPS) will host three events through our “Joy of Giving” holiday initiatives. It has been a very challenging year and we are in need of supporters for several different reasons whether in-kind, volunteering and/or monetary donations. We would love to support more than 2000 individuals.
* In partnership with the Nicetown CDC are Thanksgiving and new clothing/shoes giveaway. This event will be held on Tuesday November 26 from 5 to 8 PM.
* Why Not Prosper holiday celebration. Supporting 40 women who were justice impacted and returning citizens. We plan to support them and their families through a catered meal and gifting giveaway. This event is occurring on December 14 from 3 to 6 PM.
* Edward T Steel Elementary school for our 22nd annual holiday celebration in which we support more than 400+ children from preschool to eighth grade. This event is being held on December 19 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
