Shout out to F4HE board members, Walter Tsou (pictured speaking) and Keyerra Charles who joined fellow health care workers, patients, caregivers and researchers in an ”S.O.S for Health Rally” at Philadelphia City Hall on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026. The rally condemned federal cuts to the Medicaid health insurance program, including eligibility changes for lawfully present immigrants.

🚨 As millions of kids lose SNAP food benefits, free school meals are also at risk. 🚨 SNAP connects children with other critical resources, such as free breakfast and lunch at school. So when a family loses access to food assistance, the family's child may stop automatically receiving free food at school. And when scores of families fall off SNAP, universal free meal programs at tens of thousands of schools fall into jeopardy.
