Dear Friends of My Place Germantown,

Governor Wolf has ordered the closure of all entertainment venues in Montgomery County. Therefore, it is with regret that we inform you that the production of “Across a Banner of Fear- The Life of Eleanor Roosevelt” for this Saturday, March 14 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Fort Washington is cancelled.

A large number of patrons have already contacted me indicating that they would not be attending because of the virus. They wanted their ticket purchase to be treated as a donation to My Place Germantown. This is very much appreciated. However, if you would like a refund, there will be no problem at all, you just need to let me know that you would like it. To request a refund, please contact Jack DiFeo by email- [email protected]

🌺🌻🌹 MY PLACE GERMANTOWN PLANT SALE 🌼🌷🌸
🌺 Think spring, and what better way to put this crazy winter behind you than to brighten your yard, patio, deck and garden with lush flowering (and green) hanging baskets!

🌸 For each donation of $22 to My Place Germantown (MPG), you’ll receive a beautiful 10” hanging basket of your choice (see the photos attached for the selection of plants).

🌻 No outside space to adorn? Our pickup dates are the weekend before Mother’s Day weekend. It’s the perfect gift! Nowhere from which to hang a plant? The hangers can be removed, and voila! You have a potted plant, which can easily be put on a stand or in a decorative container if you choose. Don’t really feel like you have a green thumb? Your donation to MPG will be greatly appreciated, nonetheless. And maybe that green thumb has just been dormant all these years.

🌹 All plants must be picked up at MPG (209 East Price Street, Philadelphia PA 19144) the weekend of May 2-3. You can stop by MPG on Saturday, May 2, 2:00-5:30pm, or on Sunday, May 3, 11:00am-3:00pm.

🌼 Take a look at the photos of the available plants, and print off an order form to select the plants(s) you would like. Just complete the order form, keep a copy for your records, and send it, along with your payment in check or cash, to:
