Too often, we only hear about our young people when something goes wrong. Today, we celebrate a different story.

Folcroft’s own Fame Ijeboi, a Purdue University RB, came home to invest in the next generation through his “Faith Over Fame” Community Giveback!

Thank you to every volunteer, sponsor, family, and community member who helped make this day possible. Together, we showed our youth what leadership, service, and community truly look like.

Real success isn’t just measured by where you go it’s measured by how you give back! 🖤💛

A West Catholic alumna. An athlete. A scholar. A daughter, a sister, a friend.

Akyra Murray, Kirra, to the people who loved her was the youngest victim of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy on June 12, 2016. She was 18 years old, fresh out of West Catholic High School, and on the cusp of everything she'd worked for.

💙💛She never got to walk across a stage and collect her degree.

💙💛So we are going to make sure somebody else does in her name.

HUGE CONGRATS to and kfranc1s on winning the City Team of the Year and City Player of the Year, respectively!

Also, congrats to all the other teams and players in the area that were finalist for the awards!

The 2025-26 season was super competitive with all four of our finalist winning their league or state championship, respectively. In the end, took home our City Team of the Year award posting a 25-6 overall record and capping their season with a dominating PIAA 5A State Championship run!

They were led by their all-everything 2027 guard Korey Francis, who led the team in scoring with 644 overall points, averaging 21.5 ppg. He also tallied the following:
50.8 fg%
36.3 3fg%
7.4 rpg
3.2 apg
1.7 spg
1.3 bpg

Those numbers, along with Bonner’s team success garnered Francis our City Player of the Year Award!
