HUGE CONGRATS to and kfranc1s on winning the City Team of the Year and City Player of the Year, respectively!

Also, congrats to all the other teams and players in the area that were finalist for the awards!

The 2025-26 season was super competitive with all four of our finalist winning their league or state championship, respectively. In the end, took home our City Team of the Year award posting a 25-6 overall record and capping their season with a dominating PIAA 5A State Championship run!

They were led by their all-everything 2027 guard Korey Francis, who led the team in scoring with 644 overall points, averaging 21.5 ppg. He also tallied the following:

36.3 3fg%
7.4 rpg
3.2 apg
1.7 spg
1.3 bpg

Those numbers, along with Bonner’s team success garnered Francis our City Player of the Year Award!

Today’s we celebrated the dedication of a community-driven mural project at Tustin Rec Center.
Featuring six mini-murals by Meg Saligman installed in 2024 as a part of the Safe Havens project and a new mural, Black Butterflies, by neighborhood artist Jona Shreeves-Taylor, both created in collaboration with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Tustin Rec leaders.
Together, they’ve transformed the center into a more vibrant, welcoming space.

HUGE CONGRATS to and .5 on winning the Area Team of the Year and Area Player of the Year, respectively!

Also, congrats to all the other teams and players in the area that were finalist for the awards!

The 2024-25 high school season was one of the more balanced and competitive seasons in recent memory, but in the end Father Judge and Kevair Kennedy rose to the top of the area collecting a PCL & 6A State Championship, with the senior point guard leading the way!
