It is a sad moment for Coalition for Jamaica (CFJ) as we mourn the loss of one of our founding members, the late Mr. Winston Grossett.

Mr. Grossett helped to reform Coalition and assisted with the expansion in 2007 under the leadership guidance of the late Hon. Consulate Dr. Aston Meade, who served the Philadelphia area.

During Mr. Grossett leadership, Coalition grew rapidly in Philadelphia, which allowed CFJ to become active with many different organizations including, Penn's Relays.

Mr. Grossett served with humility, passion, and dedication to the hundreds of athletes that were under the care of Coalition. He was always humble, as he chauffeured the athletes to and from their meets and lodging. He displayed humility as he helped prepare the food or served the food in order for the athletes to stay in shape for their meets. And, of course, his yearly dedication to the Coalition and athletes was profoundly applaudable.

Mr. Grossett moved to Jamaica and became president of the Jamaican branch of Coalition. His esteemed service to the Jamaican people and Caribbean Diaspora will never be forgotten. Rest well, Mr. Grossett.
